Tonight was Back to School Night. Drew's teacher, Miss Stephanie was a good sport and let me take her picture. She's very upbeat and positive -- which I guess you'd have to be when you're dealing with 3 and 4 year olds all day. She tells me that Drew is doing very well so far this year, and that his vocabulary is definitely growing. There's a double-edged sword for you!
Tomorrow is the primary election, and I can't wait for it to be over. I'm hoping that means that these unbelievably annoying spam phone calls will stop. I resolved not to vote for anyone that called me and left me these automated messages, but now I think I've gotten one of these phone calls from every single candidate, so now what do I do? I'm afraid that the phone calls will start up again next month before the general election. Adam said they should be on the Do Not Call list, but, of course, that law couldn't have passed if the politicians got included! That's the end of my political commentary. You'll notice I neither endorsed nor opposed any candidates in my speech.

I hear you about the phone calls. Why do they think that works?
