We're starting to get ready for Drew's birthday party. He'll be four years old on Aug 23rd, and he asked for a Cars party. I'm going to try to make a cake that looks like Lightning McQueen. Cake decorating is not exactly my forte, but I'll give it a try.The weather is absolutely beautiful here today. It's rare to have these cool, low humidity days in August so we really need to take advantage of it. I think we're going to go to Uncle Andy's pool later today. Drew loves the pool plus he always wants to spend time with his cousins, Hailey and Alex.

I forgot to mention on your blog that Drew saw the picture of the kids at putt-putt and pointed out to me that Quinn was wearing a Lightning McQueen shirt!
