Happy Birthday Nana!

Today is Judy Shaughnessy's birthday. Judy is Adam's stepmother and Drew's Nana. We're hoping to be able to see her this weekend one way or another. Drew told me we were going to the airport to get her today -- he thinks all visitors come from the airport now (probably because he and Adam picked up Adam's grandmother, Gloria, at the airport last month).

I looked all over for a picture of Judy that she wouldn't kill me for posting (not that she's going to be reading the blog anyway), and this was the best one I could find in a hurry. I cropped out Adam and his dad, because, well, it's not about them, is it?

Today is my third day posting to this blog, and I thought I'd mention why exactly I'm doing it. First, I was inspired by my cousin Scott's wife, Heidi who has been blogging since last February. We only see my Michigan cousins once a year, and it's great to see what's going on with them during the rest of the year. Second, I started thinking about how it would be nice for Drew's grandparents (both here and out of state) to see what he's up to on a daily basis. Plus, if I get to (gently) poke fun at people in my family or myself from time to time, so much the better!

Your 3rd day of posting...And doing a fine job!
When we drop Scott off at the airport for trips, Quinn thinks he just stays there and works... too funny the way kids brains work.
