Spike is no longer with us as of this morning. He must have expired sometime during the night. Adam and I had a quick funeral in the back yard this morning before Drew woke up. I didn't want to have to get into a lot of explanation about what happened and where he was going.
Drew hasn't seemed to notice yet that Spike is missing.
